One aspect I never considered was, when we have accredited hunters on the property, they are also policing against poaching as they are aware they are the only authorised hunters on my property.

What a great scheme! So easy to post a “job” (= a request for help) and within 2 days I had four keen hunters willing to come from as “close" as Nelson (140km) to as far away as Ashburton (300+ km). Have not had anyone up yet as the mob of 20 goats that descended on to our paddocks over winter have disappeared again as stock returned in the spring. However after letting the hunters know the situation I now have four contacts willing to come up anytime the need arises again. That feels most reassuring.

After logging our job on the Farmers Assist website we were contacted by Ian regarding culling of some rabbits on our lifestyle block. Ian and the team came out over several nights and brought the rabbit population down dramatically. I was impressed with their professionalism and communication. Would have them back any day. Grant I
